When Six Years Is a Lifetime

Jesse,
I remember when you rolled your first car thank god it was a little tykes and your dog was there to give you kisses.
I remember when you would laugh until you couldn't catch your breath because you were watching a funny movie

I remember the first broken bone, stitches and broken heart
I remember the first car, car accident and speeding ticket

I remember the hugs a strong grip even when you were little especially when you were grown
I remember the intense emotions you displayed anger, excitement, and most of all love

I remember the proud moments of being your Mom
The love you gave to the unlovable, cookies to a neighbor and invitation to a dinner to some we barely knew

I remember the pain of being your Mom the calls I never wanted to get, But mostly I remember the calls from you
I remember the worst call ever and nothing can make that ok I remember our last call, last words, last look.

That is when six years a lifetime is.

Jess I miss you every day, some days it makes me cry, some days it makes me laugh, some days it brings a warm feeling in my heart but every day I remember you.

Love
Mom

You are missed
Jesse,
We have all missed seeing you and talking to you.
Somethings special or not stick in our heads that can remind us of you and we get a  picture of you in our mind and a feeling in our hearts.
Like the way you would say "coffee". Or smelling Patchouli. When we go to the beach. Every Holiday. There is always something.
Then there is the signs you have sent that can't be explained (nor would we want to explain) we are just so happy to share these signs with each other.
Of course I can no longer ask you to send your Mom any signs because an explosion (I would say) is the biggest I can think of.
You make me believe in Magic and Love Everlasting.
Love,
Aunt Wendy
