Jesse remember when you wanted to have me pitch to you . . . .oh mom don't worry it is just a plastic bat and ball you won't get hurt.  It is many years later and I still remember the ball hitting me.  I believe it was the last time I had enough courage to pitch to you.  Memories carry me through the days that are so empty without you.

Guitar Hero II

Jesse I remember when we went to the Mall February 24, 2007.  You, me, and my Dad went to buy Guitar Hero II and Mom went to get her hair cut.  We went in a few stores than went to see if Mom was done yet.  We could see her through the glass & she could see us, we were laughing & waving. When we got home we played Guitar Hero for hours & hours.  We did so good that we got to Free Bird it was great.  I miss you.  I miss all the fun we had.  I think of you whenever I play Guitar Hero.

Love,

Keith

Jesse,

Here it is another Tuesday and thinking of you as usual.  Last night Grampa and I were watching something on television and a woman started to yodel.  Remember the night before you passed away you wanted me to yodel for you.  I got kind of silly but I did yodel for you not knowing it would be the last time.  But I know you enjoyed it very much and we both laughed so hard.  You had said that you tried to yodel and just couldn't do it, so you thought I was pretty special.  Still missing you more each day and pray for you each night before going to sleep.  I see you in the bright stars shining each night.

LOVE YOU JESSE,

Gram

Opening Day Fishing

Jesse you sure loved fishing!!!  All your fishing buddies miss you.  Your tree came in full bloom today.  Which makes us think that the fishing must be really great where you are.  There's no limit to what you can catch up there.

Hi Jesse,

Thinking of you getting ready for your most enjoyable sport of fishing, since it opens tomorrow for the season.  Can still see how excited you were getting ready to go.  Also remember digging for worms in the garden and looking for night crawlers, especially after a rain storm.  It sure brings back a lot of memories.  Hope the fishing is good where ever you are and God is being good to you.  Sending all our love and kisses.  MISS YOU.

Jesse,

I can't believe it is already a year ago today that your Mom had such a beautiful memorial for you in New York.  We got to meet a lot of your friends and they spoke of what a handsome and caring young gentleman you were. That day we were having a terrible snow storm and I couldn't believe all the people that still came.  I want you to know how much they are missing you.  Grampa and I miss you more each day, more then you will never know. We will all meet again some day.

Love,

Critical Bill/Techn9ine Concert

Jesse when you told us about that concert you were so excited.  You went with Maureen & Eric.  You said it was the best time.  Your favorite songs were "This is Critical" and "Einstein".  When you and Maureen were standing outside the hotel you got to meet Technine he said "Hey I know you" and you didn't know him but you reminded him of someone and you got to meet him.  That's was so cool.  The best part was he signed a dollar bill because it was the only thing that you had with you.  Your Mom gave that dollar and the CD to Maureen and Eric because she knew you would want them to have it.

Jesse,

April 3, 2007 was one of the worst days of my life.  I wish it never came, I just couldn't believe it when I went into the bedroom to wake you up for breakfast that morning.  To think that the night before you were helping Grampa and I make supper, cooking steak on the grill and sauteing the mushrooms on the stove while I mashed the potatoes. Also when you arrived at my house April 2nd and jumped out of the car so excited and happy with a great big hug for me as usual, telling us about the new job you were starting in New York. Just before going to bed you thanked Grampa and I very much for all we did for you and you were planning to come down Easter morning with little Amaya for dinner with your Mom and Dan.  You never went to bed without telling us how much you loved us and gave us a big kiss.  How I miss all that!!  I will cherish all the good times, pictures and memories we have of you.  Until we meet again sending all our love and kisses and thinking of you each day!!!!

Jesse,

This is just one of many memories that was shared with you. I can think back to when all the family was in NY for a party, and we were all playing vollyball. The ball got away from one of us and you decided to go after it. Well you were running and tripped over Bear's leash and did a complete flip and landed on your back. I dont think you got hurt but it was damn funny to watch. Everyone got a big kick out of it.

Love ya Jesse and I sure do miss ya

I remember when you were about two years old, I was driving school bus for Ellington.  We went back for the afternoon bus run and you were not too happy about that, so when I got out of the car to put your carseat in the bus you locked the car doors and would't let me in!!  I tried to convince you to let me in, but that wasn't going to work.  I called the police to see if they would come to the bus yard to unlock the door, but was told they didn't provide that service anymore.  Furthermore, the officer said a two year old should know how to unlock a car door.  So I told the officer it's not that he does'nt know how.  The problem is he will not, because he just wanted to go back to my house and play not ride on a stupid school bus.  Anyways Jesse did unlock the door for me soon after and we did our bus route.  I made sure I always had my keys with me every time I got out of the car.

I remember Jesse was always awesome at sports & he was always on the move.  For example:  I have a picture of Jesse on Roller blades with a helmet finding hidden Easter Eggs with Keith at Grandma & Grandpa's house.  The Roller blades did not work as well in the grass as they did on the driveway.

Remember when we all went to the Cobleskill Sunshine Fair in New York in August 1997.  We saw Pam Tillis sing and Jesse & Keith climbed the Rock Climbing Wall.  It was the first time I'd seen the climbing wall it was about 50 feet tall.  Jesse had no fear he was 11 and Keith was 5.  Keith wanted to climb it because his cool cousin did.  We had a lot of fun that day & night.  I remember you told me Jesse liked that wall so much that for his birthday you brought him and two friends to the indoor climbing wall.

Grandma & Grandpa

I really don't know where to begin because there are so many precious memories of Jesse that I will hold forever.  But the one that Grandpa and I laugh at the most was when he was about 3 years old and we were taking him camping.  It was just Grandpa, Jesse and me.  As we were pulling into the camp site Jesse had been singing and then he started saying that very bad four lettered word.  We just ignored him thinking he may stop but he just kept saying it louder and louder.  Finally he looked at Grandpa and said Don't You Hear Me?  Grandpa said yes Jesse we hear you but didn't make an issure of it and then he never said it again.  I know we shouldn't laughed about it but if you saw the expression on his little face and him trying to act like a big guy you would of laughed too.  I am so glad to have the adirondeck chair that he made for both of us and we will treasure it for the rest of our lives. I know he is watching over us and one day we will all meet again!

I remember when I helped you guys move from Maine to Preston Hollow, New York. Jesse rode with me and we tried singing some of the songs on the radio.  I wasn't doing that good at it, and Jesse let me know about it.  So I stopped singing and the trip went pretty good.  Your always good company no matter where you are.

Love Uncle Gary
