How hard it was for me on Thanksgiving day when I was at the stove making gravy and the guys were sampling the turkey as Dan was carving it, it made me think of you on your last Thanksgiving  with us and Grampa was carving the turkey and you would take a piece and dip it in the gravy and tell me how good it was.  You always loved to sample things.  Those were the days I want to remember and wish I could turn back time.  Miss you more than you will ever know.  But please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers every day, and I just try to think of all the good times we had together.  Until we meet again sending all my LOVE!!

Happy Birthday Jesse, it won't be a very happy one for all of us here.  We wish we still had you to celebrate it with.  We will be sending you some balloons with a lot of love and hugs at 4:34/pm this afternoon. Be sure to send your Mom some love, kisses and signs that you are celebrating your birthday with the rest of the gang you know up there making heaven rock!! You will never know how much you are missed and loved.  Your birthday and the holidays are the hardest for all of us to bear especially Mom and Dan!!

Jesse losing you was devastating. There are no words that could possibly describe our pain. You would have turned 24 today. We brought Uncle Kenny's boat out on Crystal Lake to try it out. After we got out on the lake it started pouring buckets.  Then there was the biggest rainbow either one of us has ever seen, it started and ended in the lake.  You spent time at the lake fishing and we think that rainbow was from you...also we think the downpour that soaked us was from you.

We remember what we think was your first car, The Little Red & Yellow Coupe.  We think you were 2 or 3 and happy as could be.  You opened the door got right in it and knew just what to do.  Those little legs were so fast.  Always racing from one place to anotherand always ready for a new adventure.  Missing You So Much.

Jesse & Chet on the double tricycle

Jesse, We celebrated Chet's 21st birthday on Sunday.  I started thinking back to Chet's first birthday, he was in his high chair and you were by his side, ready to show him what to do with the cake that was placed in front of him.  As you both began digging in with both your hands eating the cake you could hear the laughter from everyone watching with every fistful you boys shoveled into your mouth.  At one point you leaned over and whispered in Chet's ear your getting a bike for your birthday, which was suppose to be a surprise .  It was precious.  After the gifts were opened and the bike uncovered you hopped on the two seated tricycle and drove Chet around the yard.  You boys rode around on that tricycle many days together.  I MISS YOU Jesse, I MISS Your LAUGHTER, Your VOICE, Your HUMOR, YOU.  YOUR LOVED and TRULY MISSED by All Jesse.  All My LOVE, Aunt Chris

   Something reminded Chris & I  of the day we went to Dunkin Dounuts with you. We parked next to one of your friends and when you got out you were talking to him. When Chris & I got out you I think he was wondering who the ladies were and you said "Oh these are just my Aunts". It reminded me of how you said Aunts, Coffee, etc. It made me laugh remembering the smile on your face. We talk about you alot with your Mom and sometimes when we do we feel your with us.

   When we were all leaving the house we saw this smiley face under the basketball hoop.  It was made from the raindrops.  It reminded all of us when we use to play the basketball game "Horse".

We had a good time playing this and a lot of laughs.

Tonight driving home from work I went by the waterfall in Somers like always.  I saw a young man and a little girl around five (I think) fishing.  It reminded me of you and Amaya.  I'm thinking the fish are bigger up there.

   Opening day today, a day you looked forward to.  You were a great fisherman.  Always sharing with us the latest rods and reels you bought and ones you planned to get.  You could fish for hours.  I think about you all the time Jesse, many times bringing tears to my eyes and many times a smile to my face, but still I cry with a terrible ache in my heart.  Why God?  Why Jesse?  You know he was loved so very much by us and needed too.  He was a beautiful young man with so much to offer.  I can't believe it has been two years without you.  I wonder how Amaya is.  I know you watch over her.  She was the love of your life.  I think about how much she will miss out on too, being without you in her life.  All we can do is pray to God for strenghth and help each other through this journey.  We will meet again I know that.  Jesse much love to you.

Yesterday was Easter, how sad without you.  The kids and grown-ups all flew kites.  Uncle Ron flew a kite that Miranda brought and believe it or not it is still flying this morning.  Maybe when I get home it will be on the ground.  We all thought that you probably had a hold on it.  LOVE AND MISS YOU MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW!!!!
